Prof. Binbin Chen
Associate Professor, Information Systems Technology and Design
Singapore University of Technology and Design
Binbin Chen is an Associate Professor in Information Systems Technology and Design with Singapore University of technology and Design. His research focuses on improving the design of complex interconnected systems (e.g., cyber-physical systems and IoT systems), so that such systems can become more efficient and more secure, yet still remain as simple as they can.
Prior to joining ADSC, Binbin obtained his PhD from National University of Singapore (NUS) and Bachelor from Peking University, both in Computer Science. His research has received several awards, including the Best Paper Award in ACM SIGCOMM conference 2010. His research has been funded by Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore, Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Building & Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore, and Singapore Cybersecurity Consortium.
