Dr. Louise F.H. Funke

Louise holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technical University of Munich and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge. She developed advanced genome engineering methods and co-authored a synthetic E. coli genome with an altered genetic code. Now, Louise is working on new approaches to DNA data storage and a support system for sustainable cell culture.
